Palm Beach and Broward County hold annual college fairs - usually in October of each year.
As of 2024, every high school must hold or invite senior students to a college & career fair.
The NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) offers the option of in-person and online college fairs.
There are other local college fairs available.

Perform a search on Eventbrite for "college fairs." Remember, these events don't only occur at the beginning of the year.
Admission counselors attend college fairs to help you with any questions about their school to see if it is the right college fit for you. (Print a copy of the questions to take with you)
Here are a few sample questions to help you uncover key information. Remember to ask anything specific to your needs and interests and prioritize your questions in order of importance.
What are the admissions requirements? Do admission officers make decisions solely on numbers and stats, or do extracurricular activities truly matter at your school?
What academic programs are the most popular at your college? What programs/majors are offered?
What is the average class size? What are the faculty like and how accessible are they outside of class? How would you describe the academic pressure and workload?
What do students like most about your school? What is the biggest complaint from students?
Can freshman have a car on campus?
Is the meal plan required?
What are the housing options? How difficult is it to get on-campus housing? Do students mostly live on or off campus?
Where do students hang out on campus? What do students at the university usually do during their free time? Is there a sports complex or fitness center?
What financial aid programs does your college offer? Outside of merit scholarships, what other scholarships are available to me and when can I apply?
What support services in place?
Are there internships available specific to my major? Is there job placement help for graduates? How does your career planning department compare to other colleges/universities?
